1200 25th August 1813

On 22^nd August 1813 1^st Allied corps defeated 6^th French corps at the battle of Agullar

On the following day the French retreated towards Pancorbo.

1^st Allied corps mounted a cavalry pursuit, but it was abandoned after a brief cavalry skirmish on the Pancorbo road.  

After seven days of marching and then fighting at Aguillar the allied corps was in need of rest and reorganisation.    They have spent the time since the battle doing just that, and are now ready to pursue the French once more
